Smart Testing: Doing Multiple-Choice Right

  • Reward students for quantity and quality independently, as is done with essay tests scored at higher levels of thinking.

  • Isolate mastery from any test score rather than just count right marks. “You did great on what you completed.”

  • A traditional test score of 60% (40% wrong) can become a test score of 70% and zero wrong. “I know what I know!”

Use KJS to Supplement or Replace Right-Mark Scoring in the Classroom, on Standardized Tests, and in the Workplace

  • The fair, accurate, honest test scores from KJS provide the information needed to guide the production of self-motivated, self-correcting students, functioning at all levels of thinking.

  • On their third test, more than nine out of ten students choose KJS, to report what they knew, over marking all questions and waiting for the teacher to tell them the right answers.

  • High quality students learn more, retain more, and get higher test scores. High quality employees require less supervision.
